SpringBoard!

Created by women for women, the SpringBoard! Scholarship program was established in 2004 to help improve the lives of women in southern New Mexico by providing opportunities for advanced education. This scholarship will be awarded to non-traditional undergraduate female students from throughout southern New Mexico who are pursuing higher education at a southern New Mexico community college or vocational school in preparation for a career.

Criteria

Both scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial need to non-traditional undergraduate women with a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Non-traditional is defined as, among other things, women who did not enter college directly from high school. Scholarships are awarded by the SpringBoard! committee.
**SpringBoard! also offers funds covering GED testing fees.
