DESCRIPTION:Dog Gone is a 60-minute comedy written by local playwright Brenda McFarlane and performed by Hallie Harris at the historic El Sol Theatre in Silver City. \n\n\n\nAfter a fight gives her an opening\, Alice heads north — and keeps driving\, afraid of losing momentum. Somewhere in the Arizona desert\, she loses her dog. What follows involves animal control\, unexpected desert kindness\, and a woman forced to confront the gap between the life she has and the life she longs for. \n\n\n\nFunny\, moving\, and rooted in the landscapes and communities of the Southwest\, Dog Gone is a one-woman story about home\, longing\, and the courage to admit what we really want. \n\n\n\nPresented by Far Fetched Productions in association with Silver City Theatre. \n\n\n\nPerformances take place the first three weeks of April at the historic El Sol Theatre in downtown Silver City.
