DESCRIPTION:Join us for monthly volunteer gatherings\, held on the second Tuesday of most months from 9:30AM -10:30AM at the Asombro Institute for Science Education office at 401 E College Drive\, Las Cruces. This is a great opportunity to meet other volunteers and learn more about Asombro. We work on a variety of tasks such as folding newsletters\, stapling\, sharpening\, and other various tasks that help us prepare for education programs. Open to new and interested volunteers of all ages. Light refreshments provided.

DESCRIPTION:In collaboration with Safer New Mexico Now and the Success Partnership\, the Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico will be hosting a car seat clinic! Proper car seat installation and use can make all the difference in protecting young passengers during every ride. Technicians will be onsite to provide hands-on assistance with car seat installation\, safety checks\, and helpful tips to ensure your child’s seat is correctly secured.
