SUMMARY:Interagency Council
DESCRIPTION:The Interagency Council is an informal group of social service providers (nonprofits\, government agencies\, etc.) that meets on the second Wednesday of each month. Anyone in the community is welcomed to participate in the Interagency Council. There is NO cost. It is not necessary to RSVP. People show up when their schedule permits. \n\n\n\nAt the Interagency Council\, all attendees are given an opportunity to make announcements about their particular agency. One organization is highlighted and makes a formal presentation about the services and programs they provide. Minutes are taken and are distributed to the list via email.

DESCRIPTION:Learn critical responsibilities of nonprofit board service from local BoardSource certified trainers. The Lunch & Learn series curriculum offers courses focused on understanding board member roles and responsibilities\, nonprofit board structures\, fundraising fundamentals and financial due diligence.  \n\n\n\n​Nonprofit board members\, senior staff\, and those who plan to serve on a board are encouraged to attend.  \n\n\n\nThe courses do not need to be taken all together. If you are a nonprofit leader\, board member\, volunteer or interested in being on a board choose the ones most suited to your interest.  Nonprofits that have at least one attendee for all 8 courses will receive special recognition and their registration fees back as a grant.  For questions please email info@cfsnm.org or give our offices a call at 575-521-4794.
